Enchant a creature with Ferocity. Imprint Choking Vines onto Panoptic Mirror. Use Choking Vines to give it give it a +1/+1 counter. Repeat.

Note: if enchanted creature has vigilance, all the better.

Doesn't work. The mirror only activates during the upkeep phase, and the spell can only be cast during the declare blockers phase. Sorry but i have had many ideas broken on that technicality.

Forgive me,I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I fear if one casts an X spell without paying it's mana cost the value of X cannot be paid.
Example:Casting Blaze for 11 red mana, it will deal 10 damage, but if you try to copy the spell w/ something such as Izzet Guildmage, you would only copy blaze as X(R).Even though the original Blaze would deal ten damage the copy would deal 0, due to the X cost not being paid.
Sorry if this sounds like an insult, I mean no offense, I'm just trying to help.
