Play Forest, discard Elvish Spirit Guide, play Channel.
► Pay four life for Gemstone Array.
Life remaining: 16
► Pay five life for Kismet.
Life remaining: 11
► Play three life for Stasis.
Life remaining: 8
► Play five life for Eon Hub.
Life remaining: 3


At the cost of seventeen life, your opponent can't untap (or even play) his permanents, and you don't need to keep paying upkeep costs for Stasis now. Wait to draw another Forest, play Prismatic Omen, and play whatever you want (maybe something to increase your life, just in case).

As good a card as it is, I just did this to one-up Twogunkid. That's right, I'll admit it.
But yeah, this way, you don't have to pay for Stasis's upkeep cost... because you don't have an upkeep anymore.

you didnt "one-up" twogun, cuz you falsely advertised mono green. stasis is not a green card :-P

Well, I suppose literally, you can have a rainbow deck with Prismatic Omen, but it's still a green card so you can have Forests only and still be able to play rainbow cards because it makes your lands generate mana of any color.

still has a blue card. and that card is vital to the lockdown.  not mono green :)

good combo, if you can manage to make it all work, though.

ESG seems to be the green mana fixer of the week. Lotus petal was flavour of the week a lil while back.

1 of the best mono-green lockdown is ummm maybe, static orb + Seedborn muse and maybe an icy manipulator?
