Sorry but cascade doesn't work on "come into play" but "play" or "cast". This means that it has to leave you hand and have mana payed for it. Copies don't get cascade either.

OK, this combo is confusing. Can someone explain it more in detail to me?

He was trying to use the o-rings to keep bringing the wurm in and out of play triggering cascade each time. however as psyche said cascade only triggers if cast, in addition, the infinite loop created by the 3 o-rings gets broken when placed on the wurm, so it would not have worked anyway. It is true, the confusion between playing and put into play is the reason they changed the ruling with m10, and changed it from "playing" to "casting" so there is a better distinction between casting and put into play
