The skipped turn is the one that has the effect of you losing at the end. Since it doesn't begin the effect never triggers.

very nice,  add a second magosi or a way to untap it to go infinite

stone-seeder hierophant. That would do the trick. Deserted Temple would do to, and it is colorless.
