While popigaj not worthy of being noted, this combo is not very good. Without a way of blocking more creatures this is suicide for Gideon Jura. If you get the cost down to something cheap. like 1 or 2 mana the you are being swung at by 4 to 5 creatures. Unless they are all 1/1 the plansewalker is going to die. If they are big enough that the trap is needed then it is unlikely that Gideon will live. So this seems to only be good at sniping weak creatures with big spells. If you can make the trap hit more creatures then you may have something going.

Your opponent might be surprised but probably wouldn't care if you only have one blocker...
