TURN 1: Play a Forest, play Shield Sphere for free, enchant with Spider Climb. You have a 0/9 defender now that blocks everything except unblockables. On Turn 1. Yay.
TURN 2: Play a land, play Power Conduit. Now every time Shield Sphere blocks, you can replace that -0/-1 counter with a +1/+1 counter.
Optional: Add one of the following:

→ Blade of the Bloodchief - ...more +1/+1 counters on your Shield Sphere. Wee.
→ Warmonger Chariot - ...make Shield Sphere be able to attack. Fitting since it already looks so... pointy.
→ Animate Wall - ...same as the Chariot... except for

It can't block creatures with Shadow. . .
