It would work in the same way as putting Spirit Link on Serra Avatar Its twisted I like it. Don't focus on the suspend ability Seraphic if that is whats making you wonder how it works.

He deals damage, which powers it up.

His size is based on the difference between your life and your opponent's. With the Link on him, everytime he deals damage you'll gain that much life and he'll double in size.

I think he meant the Vampiric Links since they've escaped the "lifelink" keyword. That means they can be effectively stacked, whereas any number of lifelink abilities are only going to count as 1.

I'm guessing he refers to when lifelink stacked. Way overpowered. Besides, the best part of the old rules was how combat damage used the stack. After they changed that in M10, I lost sooo many tricks...

My Esper deck used to be so much better, because I could block, deal damage, then sacrifice it.

I used to be able to stomp alot of fairie decks with my blue/white bounce. Since the new rules, cards like Whitemane Lion and Stonecloaker aren't nearly as useful. I still think it's a good change. New players tend to not want to play when you own them with things that don't make sense.

I remember when I played Esper. My opponent had to tell me to show him what was happening. Thopter Foundry was the main reason.

Oh yeah... I also abuse old rules with blood pet then after dealing damage sac then fatal blow...

Too bad it's not legal anymore... I could take down non-first strike creatures with 1 black mana with that...
