If you mindslaver an opponent then play the Cursed Scroll ability, what will happen?

It would choose the opponent as the target.

How do you choose a card at random?

Put the cards facedown, mix them around then look at one.

Using a die is the most effective way.

If you've got 3 cards and a six sided die, assign each card 2 numbers then roll. you may need different dies depending on how many cards someone has. Most people just get an opponent to choose because they cant see your hand so it's always random.

As for the cursed scroll question, this has been a ruling on mindslaver since 2k4, so I'm assuming it would be the same for Sorin...

10/4/2004 Only lets you make decisions that the player would actually make. If another effect allows another player to make decisions that would normally be made by that player, such as having another player decide how combat damage is dealt, then the other effect takes precedence.

I believe Cursed Scroll's ability that requires them to make a choice still works the same way wether their turn is controlled or not.
