Simple. have the mirror and arbiter down. Play followed footsteps on the arbiter. Each turn you get another arbiter. This raises the cost of each spell the opponent plays by 1. Use paradox haze to accelerate this if needed. In 5 turns they need to pay 5 more mana for each spell, and in 10 they pay 10 more. This is a soft lock on there ability to play spells.
