Have at least 5 islands down.

Cast high tide.

tap 4 islands for 8 blue spend 5 blue on x for candelabra, then use sages to untap candelabra.

Then tap 5 island for 10 blue spend 8 on combo net 2 blue, repeat.

More islands = better result.

To get high tide every turn use Panoptic Mirror.

use these lands to get white when you want it too.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but is there any combo. that doesn't use that artifact? Pretty spendy and I'd like to use somewhat newer cards.

The Candelabra isn't used that often.

ok there's a flaw in your combo


01) 5 islands in play
02) tap one to play the high tide
03) 8 mana at your disposal
04) your spending
05) 5 to untap the artifact (that dosnt even tap, it stays untapped, theres no tap symbol)
06) and the last three to "untap" the tawnos

if this is how your working it, wheres the mana "gain" at???

get rid of the sages, theyre not needed instead do this

5 islands
tap one for high tide
now have 8 untapped
tap 4 to add 8 to your mana pool
use 5 to untap your lands (3 left)
tap all five adding 10 (13 now)
use 5 to untap all lands (8 left)
tap all 5 to add 10 mana ( 18 now)
spend 5 to untap mana (13  left)
tap all to add 10 (23 now)
spend 5 to untap all land (18 now)
tap all to add 10 (28 now)

do you see what i mean.. your gaining 5 to your mana pool EVERY TIME YOU TAP THE ISLANDS
in being infinite, its a massive gain....

panoptoic mirror not needed, high tide reads "until end of turn" your turn never ends.  build enough mana to wipe out all in a roomwide game (everyone versus everyone, the more the better, takes a while, but its mad fun, take a fee from everyone depending on amount of people divide cost of a new booster box. and give it away as a prize)

It's a mono artifact which means it taps when used. Mono artifact used to mean that it can only be used once. That's why the sages are in there.

ok so you gain two mana every time, becaus theres 10 every turn, your spending 8 to untapeverytring, ok it will work, my bad i forgot about the 5th land the second time around.

Artifact, the creature is green, and cant be untapped by sages.
