If I'm correct, each damage redirected from nomads en-kor becomes a separate object on the stack, meaning that each damage will trigger Fungusaur to gain a counter.

Nice... Does fungusaur needs to survive the damages before it gets the counters?

I think that you can redirect one damage, then give it the counter, then redirect another.

So the damage resolutions are seperate?

They're separate objects on the stack, the en-kor breaks down the damage into individual points of damage that go on the stack one right after the other.

So, urza's armor does reduce it to zero...

Lin is correct. The kors only change how damage is assigned. So if u assign 2 damge to fungusaur it takes 2 and dies before the counters are put on

According to which rule?

510.2

510.2. Second, all combat damage that’s been assigned is dealt simultaneously. This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack. No player has the chance to cast spells or activate abilities between the time combat damage is assigned and the time it’s dealt. This is a change from previous rules.

gericault5 has a point there, another reason it will not work is that the counters are not placed right away, but instead at the end of the turn if it was damaged (means no more than 1 per turn)

it specifically says it on the alpha, beta, revised, 4th edition cards
