From magic 2010 is sanguine bond. spirit link on the lord of the pit. As long as you life doesn\'t fall below 7 you can have the lord feed on your enemy. Don\'t sac a critter, and the lord deals you 7 damage. Since the creature with spirit link dealt damage, you gain that much life, and sanguine bond makes the opponent take that much damage. 7 damage and a 7/7 flying trample is game very quickly. you could also add a cradle of vitality or boon reflection to amp up the power.

Actually you could be at 7 life, since damage does not use the stack, it’s static, so you gain and loose the life at the same time.

nice. It is just a little more leeway. And 7 from sanguine + 7 damage form flying trample means 14 damage a turn. Serious kill factor there.

I just found vampiric link. It is nice because it makes the combo mono black.

M10 brings us Lifelink. Same cost and effect. Have some fun with it

Sorry, what I meant was Lifelink = Spirit link. Different name.
