I don't know if Helm of awakening would work on reducing the cost of playing Skittering invasion from the graveyard so i used doubling season, just to be sure...

This one doesn't work. There is a very technical reason. Haakon, Stromgald Scourge in the graveyard isn't a permanent. Permanents are only on the battle field. If you need me to find the specific rule number to paste here then just ask.

what i mean is when Hakkon is in play, change knight into Eldrazi... Skittering Invasion is an edrazi card right?

Never mind. I didn't read him. I thought he was you could play knights when he was in you graveyard, not when he was in play. This works. Infinite mana and 0/1 critters.

I have a week before my next week-long camp though. At my last one, I spilled boiling water on my feet.

Well, they have blisters all over them and at one point, it looks like my skin was cut off. So, all in all, it's pretty good.
