Simple. Feral animist gets +1 power for each basic land of this deck idea. Also flying, first strike, and +1 toughness for each forest. 3 lands down makes him a 5/?. 3 mana and you get 10 power, 6 gives 20.

prismatic omen. With that the base creature at 4 lands would be 14/4.
