Liked cruel ultimatum. Well this is like that but worse, because it keeps coming back. Have doubling season down when you play nicol bolas. He will come into play with 2 counters for every 1 he would normal have. He starts with 10. Next tap gilder barin with presence of gond, and untap with his ability. Nicol bolas will now be at 40. He is unbeatable. Just keep using his ability. Use a token elf to made form gond to chump block when needed, and let 7 damage and 7 perms gone each turn wear him down. The discard 7 cards should keep him form having any funny ides. Just nicol bolas and doubling season work, but the gilder and gond make it keep hitting non stop.

Gilder Bairn would only put 20 additional counters on Nicol Bolas, but besides that it's still a very good combo
