I never thought about that one, I'm too used to using mono-black with a swamp, dark ritual, entomb and exhume.

Yeah, I was inspired by a game I lost when this was fired back at me, I Show and Tell first turn and BOOM!!!!! I didn't know what he was playing and he happened to have this pretty little thing in his opening hand. When this happened, I completely forgot about that card, making it fatal against my combo deck. Sideboard right away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is assuming that you know what color they are play with on turn 1. Great combo either way.
