mmmmm Emrakul, phage the untouchable, Progenitus..... all with haste two of which would make first turn wins...

its a six card combo three of the cards are able to be replaced with other haste cards or other red mana rampers and if you go second and play manamorphose you kinda have nine cars to find it all with...(minus the obvious mountain)

I like it :)

But it's a shame you couldn't use this to fast cast Phage, you'd lose the game for not casting it from your hand. :(

It is counted as played from hand but not casted from hand though...

the text on this phage is older it is edited to say "casted" instead of "played" they were supposed to be interchangable till somebody found out it was broken. To you know... get a hasty phage the untouchable when nobody else has played a land yet.

yeah, the phage above confused me because its from Legions. she don;t work the same as she did back in 01. with that said, couldent you play phage then donate or bazaar trader it to your opponant FTW? seems fair.

I was just thinking about this combo and realized that if you have these 6 cards in your hand and the Mountain you need to get the ball rolling, that leaves you with 0 cards in hand since you don't draw on turn 1 if you go first. Assuming its you who go's first. Lets say that you go second and the draw gets you a Serra' Avitar witch is the card to win, your opponant could disrupt the combo with a simple 1cc spell and ruin the whole thing. Just saying it wont work if you go first and can be screwed up if you go second. Unless they do the usual and play a weeny on their first turn. Its still a great combo.
