Here is another Gilder Bairn combo... Artificial evo the first instance of saproling into Ouphe... Now Gilder Bairn has the forest ability Tap: Add one green mana to your mana pool...

It does look broken but just like any broken combo there is a weakness...

Creatures are vulnerable to kill spells. There is always a weakness. Also, the tokens are 1/1 and have summoning sickness, meaning you can't tap for mana, because of the summoning sickness. Any mass -1/-0 effect makes them do no damage. Also things like ghostly prison can make this weak. That said, you can have a huge creature, backed by a large army very fast with this.

A simple nausea can ruin the combo though Mycolyth will bring it back... Wrath or Damnation foils it all...
