well, for some reason this isn't letting me put up the card "Sanguine Bond". this is just an add on from my earlier combo. I forgot to put this card on that combo earler, don't know why I forgot, I just did. lol Anyway, have sanguine bond out in play along with however many soul wardens you feel neccesary. play plague of vermin, pay your entire life to put out that many rats, gain life for each rat you put out, damage your opponent for each life you gain.

I'm trying to build a black-green version of this deck and wish to ask a question. What's the best way to keep a soul warden (or in my case, essence warden) alive?

well, if you would put any artifacts in, I say put a whispersilk cloak. or a shield of the oversoul. even though its a green and white spell, you can at least use the green part of it and make it indestructable. thats all Ive got for that. sorry lol

standard wise?
Indestructibility (not sure if its standard still)
but extended/legacy/vintage, i would say go with:
Lightning Greaves
That Which Was Taken
Otherworldly Journey (to escape any damage or removal your warden would have suffered.)

Thanks. I'll try each and see how they work out.
