when you replicate twincast with one another does it count as "playing it" everytime?

No. "Copy target instant or sorcery spell". Cast is when you chose to play the card. Copies aren't cast. Rule 706.9 is that. You can check it at http://www.ebbemunk.dk/magic/index.html or http://www.wizards.com/magic/comprules/MagicCompRules_20100618.txt

Plus Twincast + Archive Trap is more effective.

This combo will work.

You Cast any cheap spell. Copy it an then copy the copy spell so you are in a circle. When your Storm counter is high enough you cast Brain Freeze .... turn .... death

no this would not work as the copies made with twincast are not cast so it doesn't add to the storm count

Even the replicated copies doesn't add... so no replicates...
