Gilder Bairn is awesome. Another good use for him. Since this can be blue black, it makes a very good Dimir combo.

no. this is really good. it can be done on the opponents turn. once your opponent draws, make him discard all his cards so he cant do anything.

No, it can't. The ability can only be played as a sorcery.

Yeah... too bad it can only be played as a sorcery... only a few discarder can be played as an instant... For example the Spellbomb...
