Not sure how this is infinite... maybe I am missing something here but I do believe it says "combat damage" and viridian is NOT combat. It would have to attack.

its ok, Piņata! it happens to us all lol

try the Canyon + Wind Zendikon + Standardize or Artificial Evolution.  You will find that it works out just the way you want it to :)

You can also change it to "Human", "Wizard" or "Cleric"... As they have "untap target land" creature ability...
