Add Gemstone Array to that combo and you can use that mana in you main phases, or any other time you may need it. While you at it add Braid of Fire to the mix.

I discovered after being point out by a friend that this combo doesn't work to what we wished it would. The untapping of mana vault can only be done during the upkeep phase. So, you better have gemstone array to make it happen.
