First go with the darksteel brute

then cast the proteus staff to play

next turn go with it's activated ability, and BAM

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is in play

NB : U need to put only Emrakul, the Aeons Torn as the only creature in your library

The rest of your library can be filled with a lot of counter spell or destroy creature card

you could also use polymorph and use awakining zones for your creatures or maby even have iona's

Just added emrakul to the Proteus Staff deck...
The best i can come up with is Raise the Alarm for tokens then Proteus Staff the token...

People are making decks off of Protean Staff and Polymorph.

Just a fun deck though... Just want ally abilities to trigger when I Proteus Staff them... Not that effective but i just want to do it for some reason...

u can substitute the darksteel brute with the chimeric coil for lower cost creature
or maybe for even lower cost, use blinkmoth nexus ( but it cost so many $$$)

For token creation, there is Goblin Assault, Awakening Zone, Join the Ranks, and all the cards that put Eldrazi Spawn into play.

Any token generator will do... How about lab rats?
