Plague spitter deals 1 damage to itself and 1 damage to other creatures. Because of Soul Link you gain min. 2 lifes per turn

Sorry, I forgot... You gains min. 4 lifes, because Plague Spitter deals 1 damage to you (+1 life), 1 damage to opponent (+1 life), 1 damage to itself (+2 lifes)
