have them both out.  When a creature goes to the grave pay 1 black to put it on top of your library then pay 1 for foster to put into your hand.

gleancrawler is costs less + no paying life and is green black!

you dont have to pay any life.  Gleancrawler is 6 to pay and can be taken out by creature removal.  this is a way to do it with enchantments.

but does cost two mana which is sad thats okay though I'd pay that for some creatures.

its kinda sad,  you are right.  but with the right creatures it can really come in handy. 
I put a new revised combo that puts the card into play(call of the wild).

I also like call of the wild... i've been using it on Blue/Green deck, basically looking on top of my library or rearranging it before activating call of the wild...
