Well, offer the Giant to the Thrinax and then have it return, allowing the Paragon equipped with the Staff to tap for 2 damage with the Giant's effect. Repeat, having the Staff untap the Paragon every time the Giant hits the grave. Continue till opponent is successfuly dead.

Successfully i meant, pardon my spelling. Remember, the ability of the Giant activates every time it enters play, and the Staff will untap the Paragon every time the Giant hits the grave. Enjoy.

:) not just edh, any Warrior deck can flourish, ive thought of doing a Warrior/Shaman idea.
