anvil + chains = no cards ever drawn by a player
death cloud must make them discard their hand and will put the counters on quest.
wait no more than 4 turns to win, if you killed all of their creatures its GG

It took me a while to understand the Chains and Anvil combo.

It will still draw him one card... it will just mill him for 3... It says on the chains that discard first, that means your opponent will still draw a card after discarding from chains...


Still a good combo...

Lets see if i can explain this with no sleep. Chains + anvil makes them discard all cards if they have 0 in their hand at the beginning of their turn. They draw a card at the beginning of their draw step (the free card that chains doesn't effect, then anvil makes them draw a card but they have to discard from chains, then anvil makes them discard a card after drawing.

I hope this clears it up.

 +1(draw step) -1(chains) +1(chains activated already for this card) -1(anvil makes you discard after drawing your second card) = 0 as a result

They cannot draw anymore cards +5 damage from nihil, if you killed all of their creatures with death cloud you basically win

Avil = draw 2, 1st one has no effect but chains makes him discard the 1st card before he draws the second. Then the anvil makes him discard a card.

Both cards have been discarded.

It starts out with the opponent drawing one card. Then, he draws a card. Since he drew a card that wasn't from the draw step, he has to discard a card to Chains. Then, the Anvil also makes him discard a card from it's ability.

+1 from normal drawing. +1 from Anvil. -1 from Chains. -1 from Anvil.
