Lol i would love to compare decks. I am making 2 decks for me and my girlfriend, she is using life gain angels with test of endurance against my Lich deck.

Quick question: Murderous betrayal. Would i only have to pay 0 since it is rounded up or would it be 1? would be nice to just be able to kill all of an opponents creatures lol.

yup you could use endless murderous beytrayels. BTW Lich's mirror is good incase lich is deystroyed it will at least buy you a turn. Also eternity vessel.

Good call. I am still pretty new to magic lol. Just started to get hardcore into it and play competitively, and i love black decks, just how they mess the game up for everyone who is playing. angels grace would prevent me from dieing if lich is destroyed, maybe put in a near death experience? one white mana open i cant die before i win.

use isochron scepter that way you can avoid splashing white or blood celebrant

I don't mind slashing in the white. i hate needing one card to finish a combo or to be able to play a card. Once i have my deck finished i'll post it so you can take a look. Not going to be too flashy but i know the mtgcombo community will make it better.

It's Magus of the Mirror. Since Lich drops you to 0 you exchange life with your opponent and they lose.

lich's mirror is a mythic rare artifact

if you would lose the game shuffle your lands hand graveyard and all permanents into your deck draw seven your life total becomes twenty

Using the Magus would cause you to draw cards equal to the life total of the player you switch with... although that only matters in a multiplayer game. I think I'm gonna start exploring with Lich in 2HG :P

you guys know any cards like words of worship that will allow me to gain alot of like (draw cards)? trying to keep it a mono black deck but i cant see ways around using some white. thanks in advance.

Those are all good cards. i am making the deck as a duel deck sorta thing with Angels vs undead but i am using mainly skeletons since i think they would be a good opponent. BTW i am planning on loosing a lot to the angels lol (have to keep the GF happy :P ). I want it to be mono black with some really nasty combos since the angels will be a mainly creature based deck, the lich will be mainly spells.
