Play glacial chasm sacrafice a land. Play it with crucible (During Second Main Phase) During your upkeep sac glacial chasm and gain 2. Play both lands in your second main phase repeat process as long as you need to survive.

That is a good combo that will buy you some time. That cumulative upkeep for glacial chasm came back to bite me once...
