Why is Nissa's Chosen not in the database?

If nissa's chosen is in the database, this combo would be great...
Just as the title says: any sac engine will do for this combo to work... add in a comes into play engine, even better... add a put into your graveyard engine, the best...

Occasionally you'll find you need to add them in manually. I had the same problem with Puca's Mischief, it's not in the database for whatever reason.

Only problem with Nissa's Chosen is that it never actually hits the graveyard. That combo doesn't work.

Same reason Cemetery Reaper can take the legendary eldrazi out if they get milled or killed, but not Darksteel Colossus.

I don't really get the mechanics behind when an ability fizzles.

Oracle says this: "The creature card in a graveyard is exiled as part of the activated
ability's effect, not as a cost. If that card has left the graveyard by
the time the ability would resolve, the ability is countered and you
don't get a Zombie token."

Does the entire ability have to be satisfied with legal targets? I mean, I don't understand how every part of the ability fizzles when one part of it isn't satisfied. Where is that mentioned in the rules?

When a legendary eldrazi hits the graveyard, the shuffle all cards into library goes on the stack. You can use the cemetary reapers ability to take out the eldrazi (by placing it on the stack above the ability), but the shuffle graveyard still happens even without the eldrazi.

empherence, here is the rule you were looking for

608.2b If the spell or ability specifies targets, it checks whether the targets are still legal. A target that’s no longer in the zone it was in when it was targeted is illegal. Other changes to the game state may cause a target to no longer be legal; for example, its characteristics may have changed or an effect may have changed the text of the spell. If the source of an ability has left the zone it was in, its last known information is used during this process. The spell or ability is countered if all its targets, for every instance of the word “target,” are now illegal.
