pop down your sigil, then pop down a wurm enchanting it with rancor, during your upkeep, enjoy your free 4/4 flying angel, then play rancor again (since you sacced it for the wurm), repeat.
this can also be done as Sigil....Throne, with Shimmering Wings. 4/4 Flyer for every 2 blue mana i have? ill take that.

Thanks for posting this combo, I might try building a W/G deck around this, using Whip Silk and Bramble elemental as well.Oh,and do you know of a mono-white enchantment that works similarly like shimmering wings?

Try Gossamer Chains. its a bit older, but it works well. For 2 white it sits on the board, then when you want, just return it to your hand for free to prevent dmg from an unblocked critter.

i use this in a white/blue deck atm as well, using shimmering wings, and Volrath's Curse, and some Stormscape Familiars to reduce the cost of the sigil all the way down to 2 white mana. (you can do the same with Thornscape familiar for a G/W deck

Cage of hands is a good white enchatment to return to your hand, Overlord. The fact that when you take it off the creature letting them attack sucks, but I personally always play Pacifism before my opponent play a better creature. So this is what I use instead of using my foot to kick myself in the ass.

Other than that, Conviction is what I think you had in mind.

Also, you could make your creatures invincible with Flickering Ward.

Just to name a couple more are Shackles and Sun Clasp

After tweaking my deck, i made this into a blue/white deck utilizing the following enchants:
Shimmering Wings
Flickering Ward (found a few i still had laying around lol)
and Volrath's curse.

I changed this about a month ago, but have been without internet for quite some time, so have been unable to post this.

You should also pop in Mesa Enchantress for extra cards.
