I borrowed some of this combo from WilliamShatgnar's combo, kudos to him :D
Anyway, Hell's Caretaker equipped with thornbite staff allows you to sacrifice a creature to bring back a creature an unlimited number of times (you can even bring back the creature you're sacrificing).
Emblem of the Warmind gives your creatures haste, allowing anything to use tap abilities when they enter play. Disruptive Pitmage has the ability (T) counter target spell unless your opponent pays (1).
If you use the pitmages ability to counter unless the caster pays (1), you can sacrifice it with the caretaker, bring it back into play and use its ability again before the stack is emptied. You will force the spell to be countered unless the opponent pays (unlimited).
You could also throw in birds of paradise: [T] add one mana of any colour to your manapool, to gain infinite mana. Or sadistic glee to pump up a creature for each time the creature goes into the graveyard. Or gravepact to completely obliterate all of your opponents' creatures (even the ones with shroud). The combinations are endless.

Sudden death (or any other split second spell), or cycle abilities completely undermine this, as they can't be countered :(

Scrap the pitmage and emblem of warmind.
Patron wizard works in their place, as it doesn't require haste for it's effect.

Haha that's a really cool idea.
Any creature with a good tap ability could be raped. good eye.
