Because you pay life you make any ammount of rats, (say 10,000,000,000) lich keeps you from losing tap ali deal 1 to yourself sac a permanent (a rat) and ali puts you at one life. Because he would reduce your total to less than 1 (-10,000,000,001) so he puts you at one but you do not gain life, so you go to 1 instead of drawing.

too bad i just realized two things.....
i thought it was too good to be true, seems i was correct.

first
116.3. A player can’t pay a cost unless he or she has the necessary resources to pay it fully. For
example, a player with only 1 life can’t pay a cost of 2 life, and a permanent that’s already tapped
can’t be tapped to pay a cost. See rule 202, “Mana Cost and Color,” and rule 602, “Activating
Activated Abilities.”

117.4. If a cost or effect allows a player to pay an amount of life greater than 0, the player may do so
only if his or her life total is greater than or equal to the amount of the payment. If a player pays
life, the payment is subtracted from his or her life total. (Players can always pay 0 life.)

and second....

117.5. If an effect sets a player’s life total to a specific number, the player gains or loses the necessary
amount of life to end up with the new total.

sorry about the wall of text there buddy.  and its too bad it dont work, it woulda been fun to use next tuesday lol

Another small addendum is that Ali prevents damage, but Lich makes you lose life (which means lich would still drop you to zero life).

I wonder how a stifle or two would work on lich though.

I find it funny that the person with a Mr. T avatar called himself old.

Edit: and the person with a comic book avatar. (^_^)

Chuck Norris can count out all of pi, but Mr. T pities the fool who needs to know that.

I would imagine both Mr. T and a comic book person being more of something that teenagers would like. . .

coincerning the A team what always got me was how the cars and trucks would flip over 4-5 times and then the people would crawl out, and once in a blue moon they would have some blood on them
