Have Maelstrom Nexus in play. Play the Broodmate Dragon and then just hope you cascade in the correct order. Bituminous Blast, Bloodbraid Elf, Demonic Dread, Burst of Speed.

Add Doomsday.

For a good Cascade, play an Enlisted Wurm, then Cascade into a Baneslayer Angel.

The best card to cascade are cards with no mana costs like those with suspend like ancestral vision, etc.

I've talked to judges. Cascade only triggers when you cast the spell, not when it comes into play by other means. It has the same restrictions as storm.

No, because the Cascade ability says that "When you play this spell, remove cards from the top of your library
from the game until you remove a nonland card that costs less. You may
play it without paying its mana cost. Put the removed cards on the
bottom in a random order." Therefore, you play the Cascaded card and the Cascade ability triggers.

Storm creates copies of spells based on the number of spells that were cast before hand, while cascade allows you to cast spells without paying the cost, however unlike storm you are still casting the spells so you get any benefit that comes from casting, such as another cascade.

however, it you put a cascade card into play, such as putting the enlisted wurm into play via elvish piper then you will not get the cascade because you did not cast it.

sorry. your right. I've only been hit with cascade once, and that was the other guy had big creatures with cycling living end, and cascade spells, that cost 3. It did the job of pulling 3 creatures with attack of 5 or greater on turn 5.
