Choosing card at random is still revealed right?

no. At random means at random. For online it is easy, but for physical cards you would hold the cards and shuffle them, then hold them facing you. The opponent would chose one that he couldn't see but you could.

also, just to point out....
Your opponents hands are revealed not yours, and the random card picked is from your hand.
