okay i'm hoping to redeem myself with a combo that does work lol.
       Play student 1st turn then 2nd turn play flash academy rector then find eldrazi consciption and swing for 11 and the reason for student is so in a few turns you can achieve 14/14 trample double strike ect... :)

And for good reason. Any number of cards will allow you to play it first turn, giving you access to any enters-the-battlefield or leaves-the-battlefield creature effect in the game. Pretty sure it's not what they had in mind when they made the card.

yeah casual it pretty much all you could use this in :( but heres an alternate rather than student of warfare. Mystic Penitent :) he has vigilance and is 1 mana so your guaranteed a blocker and attacker for the rest of the game as long as you keep them in check with the annihilator. but he does die to deathmark which is a possible play for your opponent :( lol and vendetta....ect... anyways he will be hard to get rid of :)

Really, I wish they would just reprint it as
"You may play the next creature spell you play this turn with its mana cost reduced by {2} as though it had flash."
