I think that you can't target the knight to change the creature type to wizard if it is in your graveyard. I would have to ask a judge, but i think it would have to be conspericy, which would affect the graveyard.

no you can't change the text for a card in graveyard so you change the wording on haakon while he is in play from knight to wizard to let you play wizard cards from the graveyard

I know that if Haakon, Stromgald Scourge goes to the grave yard and comes back it is considered a new permanent, and i think that, Artificial Evolution stops working on it when it goes to the graveyard, because it is no longer a permanent, but a card in the grave yard zone. You could change Voidmage Prodigy when he is in play, but the same applies. Once he leaves play he is no longer a knight. You need something that targets cards, not creatures, and targets the graveyard zone.

Nevermind sacrificing Haakon himself, if you change all instances of knight to wizard, you can play wizards from your graveyard.

I was thinking about adding Death Cultist, because it would essentially allow you to gain life and make an opponent lose life for the tap of a black mana. You could alternate between sacrificing him as a counterspell, and sacrificing for damage and control.
