I thought that copies of spells weren't "cast", so wouldn't you only get +10/+0?

I meant that copies weren't played, they just happen.

702.37a Storm is a triggered ability that functions on the stack. “Storm” means “When you cast thisspell, put a copy of it onto the stack for each other spell that was cast before it this turn. If thespell has any targets, you may choose new targets for any of the copies.”

actually he is right, the copies are not cast, which is what storm looks for in creating copies

This is still an effective because you get will get storm for each time you buy back. You'll get the +1/+0 a ton of times still.

For example: if you buy back twice you get Storm for 1 copies the first buy back and Storm for 2 copies the second buy back. That's a total of 3 cast and 3 copies not cast which is a total of 6 +1/+0's. And that's just for two buybacks.
