i suggested mytocloth. I think it is best, if a little pricey. It produces the tokens for free, and with devour of 2 it should make more than 1, which mean you get a indestructible blocker/hitter.

This is definitely better then my idea but I am looking for combos that I can currently play in a standardized tournament. Although this combo does what I was looking for alot easier its not tournament worthy due to its type 1 card.

then awakening zone. It is 1 creature per turn for 3 mana enchantment. that is 1.5 mana for 2, and you can use them early on as mana fodder.

How about eldrazi token generators... It doesn't have to produce everty turn... Comes into battlefield token generating effects ,i think, is enough...
