The real shame is that this combo isn't legal in any format (except maybe super casual in your home playgroup).  Petals are restricted in vintage, and the lotus is banned in legacy where you can play 4 petals...

Nice convoluted first turn combo though.

if you have owned multiple playsets of black lotus since it was type two its not a problem

This is kind of ironic, because Sorin has gathered grudges, according to Repay in Kind. Also, Hidetsugu's Second Rite references to not relinquishing grudges.
