Kiln Fiend doesn't seem like much, but drop him turn 2.....turn 3 cast something like Path to Exile to clear his path, then Double Cleave.....offer your opponent a 14/2 headache.

It would be a 7/2, not a 14/2.

Ok, let me correct myself.......a 7/2 , which hits for 14 with double cleave.  :)

4/2 which hits for 8 total. That is a very hard hit.

How about a Colossal Might or Brute Force while you're at it...

more spells makes it bigger fast. Since it gets +2 power each spell, with the double strike you only need to hit 10 to kill. One spell to make him unblockable for 1 turn and the doublestrike spell has you at 5 power. One spell that gives +3 power or more makes it 10 power, which is 20 damage. 3 spells cast and attack for game. Not bad

1 Brute Force will make it 7/2... Another brute force and it's over...

The Double Cleave is nessasary for double strike. 1 double cleave and 1 brute force is 10/5 w/double strike. That is a gg right there, and for only 5 mana that is fast. Could be done on turn 4.

I know... I have a deck that revolves around the Boros' double strike thing.. G/R though not W/R... I use Mirasi's Twinclaws... And pumps from Red and White like GG and Brute Force... My favorite is might of Oaks on the Mirasi's twinclaws... Instant 18 damage...
