Equip both onto goldmeadow dodger and sac a thrull every turn to oni. Either they can choose to block with a creature with0 1 2 or 3 power and take the remainder dmg or take it directly.  It doesn't matter because with every attack your life total doubles. Enjoy your overpowered lifegain

You don't need mono-colored when playing a WB lifegain deck.

yes and no. Once you have to few cards on the field annihilator will take care of sentinal.

I believe wall of denial also works in blocking this, and so I say..... DENIED!!!!

Yup Denied...

You can also use Sworn defender and a Righteousness... The best to card to use when blocking... no matter how much is the toughness of the attacking creature, as long as it is not indestructible/with regen or with an umbra aura, it will die...

And the best part is the Sworn defender will survive as long as the attacking creature doesn't have deathtouch or creature killing ability...
