I never realized that Lifeline said, "Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard and a creature is in play,
return that creature from your graveyard to play at end of turn." This means that you can mill yourself, then return the creature to play!

no it doesn't.  The reason being is there are no creatures in your library.  creatures only exist on the battlefield,

This isn't an errta,  the errta has just made it clearer, but this is the way it has always been.  Creatures only exist in the battlefield, anywhere else they are creature cards, when an effect specifys it can affect cards in library it specifys creature cards.  see conspiracy for an example

Ya, it's not as easy to use as one might think. For one, it works for all players. For two, the creature has to still be in the graveyard at the end of turn. For three, there has to be another creature in play both when the creature dies and when it would be brought back during the end step. It also doesn't work if all creatures are destroyed at the same time.

which is too bad, cuz i used to have a lifeline deck back in the day with WoG and such, and all my creatures had sick "comes into play" abilities, and on top of that i had pandemonium lol

creatures in the library are considered creature cards... right? so it's not a creature but a card...
