This combo is not my own, but is a successful t1 combo when played right.

You may have seen this at an FNM or PTQ near you. Play this combo in a deck with a large amount of lands. Discard a land to deal 2 damage to Swans netting you a 2 card draw. If you're playing 40+ land, chances are that one or both of those cards are land. Keep discarding to nuke the Swans to build up 10 lands in hand, then discard them, one at a time, to your opponent to kill him.

To speed things up and make sure you get the Swans and Assault out there, try playing Bituminous Blast and Bloodbraid Elf. The cascade mechanic works very well here and can really net a big gain getting either part of the combo out as part of another spell =).
