Like the title says, infinite tap with any permanent with a cost-free activated ability. When these 3 cards are in play, your set for the win. 

1. Draw three cards with Arcanis, and up to 2 other tap abilities from other permanents can be used.

2. Discard 2 cards to untap both cards usind MOM, or 3 cards if you have another tap card.

3. Repeat the process, and the QFAS to never run out of cards in your library.

Yep that simple. And here are some good tap cards that could work wonders with this combo. Like Braidwood cup for infinite life, or Prodigal Sorcerer for infinite damage. You guys can come up with other good cards I just mentionned a couple.

You only really need the first two, and this would work amazingly for a madness deck. Use Feldon's Cane instead.

Does the sac ability cause it to go into the graveyard before the second part of the ability resolves?

Yes. You have to pay the cost before the effect resolves.
Sacrificing is:
701.13a
To sacrifice a permanent, its controller moves it from the battlefield
directly to its owner's graveyard.
So when the Quest for Ancient Secrets resolves, it is in the graveyard, and will be shuffled in to the library.
