I tried putting Puca's Mischief instead of juxtapose, but you get the drift. Swap the elf around until it's a legal target and then swap it back to be able to draw your entire deck.

Errata on Betrayal kills this. Betrayal cannot enchant a creature you control, so even if you enchant the elf when you don't control it, Betrayal goes to the yard when you regain control of it as a state-based effect.

i just looked up the erratta

Oracle Text: Enchant creature an opponent controls
Whenever enchanted creature becomes tapped, you draw a card.

when it is being played, it can only target a creature an opponent controls.. which does not prevent you from gaining control of that creature and using it that way

this combo is awesome

good job !

I'm fairly certain it can only enchant a creature an opponent controls as a state-based effect. It doesn't target. When the creature it enchants is no longer controlled by an opponent of the enchantment's controller, it goes to the yard.

i think the card works in much the same way as equipment or other enchant creature spells... for example... if you play a enchantment or equipment on a creature and someone takes the creature, then it stays on the creature...

the "enchant a creature you dont control" essentially makes it so you can not cast it on a creature of yours... but does not mean you cant gain control of that said creature

Draco-In most cases you are right with your assement  however not the case with betrayal.  An aura is restricted to what it can enchant by what is specified on the card.  Everything else that does not fall intp that text is an illegal target for the aura.  so Genju of the fields states enchant plains, so you can only enchant a plains any other land is illegal and can't be enchanted .  When an aura involves creatures in most case it is "enchant creature"meaning it can enchant anything that is a creature, however betrayal specifiys it is a creature an opponent control.  So if ever the creature betrayal is enchanting and betrayal itself are controlled by the same person that creature becomes an illegal target since it is no longer a creature an opponent controls.  The aura can't enchant an illegal target and will fall off as a state base effect.  The same thing will happen if a player plays spreading seas(enchant land) on the plains the gengu is enchanting..  If an enchant creature aura is enchanted on an animated man-land it will fall off at end of turn because the land is not longer a creature and is then illegal
