Title: turn one infinite mana fireball

I got to know, HOW this guy did this.
I was playing at a magic shop. it was a multi player game of about 20 (we were there for a release of some sort but the games hadn't started yet) this guy asks if we would mind him platying his type one deck. we said sure why not. so we start the match, we set down we shuffled, we rolled dice all around to see who would go first. the type one guy owon. he draws his seven. a freind of his comments we better hope he does not pull his combo on the first turn. the type one guy starts laughing. everyone else is like "what?" I am sitting at the other of the table. I don't see exactly what he plays, but it went something like this. he laid down his land, played a card and sacked it played another card, and tapped it an infinite number of times, fireballed us all for infinite damage.
HOW THE HECK DID HE DO IT!

Could it be the Basalt Monolith + Power Artifact combo?
We need more details on that one.... How many card did he play?
How many lands?
How many creatures?
How many artifacts? enchantments? dark rituals? black lotus? moxes?
there are many ways to do infinite damage using fireball on the first turn with enough cards...
Basalt monolith + power artifact is one way...

I got it two rites of flames, desperate ritual, fireball, mountain, ruby medalion, and grinning ingus. How do I know? I've beaten turnone win thank God for force of will. Other turn one win I lost myself but saved everyone else pact of negation
