ever have any cards, you look at it and think nothing of it really, but realsie how good it is once you really think about it?

like merfolk skyscout...
you get to untap a permanent when you attack with it...
this means ANY permanent,

lemme put it this way,
following footsteps + merfolk skyscout...
thats an extra one of merfolk skyscout each turn...
you can tap all your mana sources for mana, then when merfolk skycout attacks, untap something, then since you still have mana in your mana pool, it adds to that to help play bigger stuff!
its even better if you have things that add a whole lot to your mana pool!

archmage ascension, at first, you think "thats not that great, itll take forever to get enough counters..."
but not true,

gilder bairn...
have one of these, as many counters on archmage ascension as possible,
something to tap gilder bairn to do an effect...
then just untap gilder bairn as much as possible to double the counters!
by about... turn 4 or 5, you could have 6 counters on archmage ascension and then every time you draw, you get to search your library for a card instead!

if any of u ppl know any cards you look at, and dont really realise how good it is, then i wanna hear about it :)

Archmage Ascension is still bad. Also, if you are playing it in standard, you need Jace, the Mindsculptor.

Blue decks with card acceleration, and a winning combo in there somewhere, can use this to win.

Well, that was my first reaction to second chance until i've seen more cards... FYI, second chance is one of the first cards that I seen... I think it was around fifth or sixth...
