okay, ive never really read up on when and how you are able to mulligan, all i know is that i was taught how to play in that you can mulligan if your hand at the start does not suit you, and if you have no lands in that opening hand, you get all the cards you would have previously had (EX. you mulliganned once prior to having no lands, and you had a land the first time, so youd get to draw six instead of five.)
But on another note, i read in another one that someone said to mulligan, im the midst of the game, what are the official rules of the mulligan?

On MTGO, you are ONLY allowed to mulligan on the openning hand. And if you do, as a penalty for choosing to mulligan, you are re-dealt 6 cards (instead of 7). Hence, if u mulligan the 6 that were re-dealt to u, the dealer then gives you 5, and so on. The exception to this rule is in 2-Headed Giant games there is whats called a "BIG-DECK" mulligan. That means when you are re-dealt 7 when u mulligan.

As far as I am aware, you can't mulligan midgame. Although, if you are playing by houserules, and you have established that in your region. Go for it.

The way my friends do it is, if you wish to mulligan you go one card less everytime you do it. But if you draw a hand of straight mana or no mana, you draw up to the maximum hand size you are at.
